How do you select your Rangers?

What should I expect during my walk-thru?
Ranger Service Plan Walk-Thru
Your first visit begins with a home walk-thru focused on everyday maintenance. Together, you and your Ranger will identify current projects, future needs, and those small annoyances you’d like resolved. From there, we’ll prioritize tasks and build a plan that makes sense for your home and schedule.
Aging-in-Place Walk-Thru
For homeowners looking to stay safe and comfortable as they age, we offer a specialized walk-thru. During this visit, a Ranger will review your home with a focus on accessibility and safety. We’ll look at things like bathroom modifications, lighting improvements, grab bar placement, and fall-prevention updates. You’ll receive a clear plan of recommended modifications tailored to your needs, so your home can continue to support you long-term.

Ranger service plans
What's Included in a Ranger Service Plan?
The Ranger Service Plan is designed to make home ownership easier, safer, and stress-free. Instead of waiting until small issues become big headaches, we provide proactive care and ongoing support for your home.
Here’s what you can expect with your plan:
Monthly or Quarterly Home Visits
A Ranger will come to your home on a regular schedule.
Each visit includes up to 3 hours of professional service time.
On-Demand Home Care
From paint touch-ups and drywall repairs to fixture replacements and picture hanging, we handle the tasks that pile up.
Projects that take longer than 3 hours can be completed by rolling hours forward or adding additional time.
After-Visit Reports
You’ll receive a summary of what was completed and any recommended follow-up items, so you always know the status of your home.
Flexible Hours
Unused time rolls over to the next visit.
You stay in control of how hours are used—big or small jobs, as needed.
Peace of Mind Upgrades (Optional Add-Ons)
Annual Home Inspection – a detailed check of your home’s major systems.
Filter Standardization – furnace filters changed on schedule to keep air clean and systems efficient.
Lightbulb Standardization – consistent, efficient bulbs across your home.
A Professional Partner in Your Corner
Not a “one-and-done” handyman, but an ongoing partner who knows your home.
Professional, punctual, and accountable service every time.
What tasks can a Ranger complete?
Rangers handle the everyday projects that keep your home in top shape. This includes things like paint touch-ups, drywall repair, fixture installation, light carpentry, picture hanging, caulking, door adjustments, and general upkeep. If it’s a repair or improvement that doesn’t require a licensed contractor (like plumbing or electrical permits), a Ranger can take care of it.
Why is Ranger a membership?
With Ranger, your home gets one dedicated handyman who knows you and your space. By joining as a member, you help us hire and retain top-quality professionals who deliver consistent, personalized service every visit. We don’t just fix problems — we get ahead of them. Our proactive approach keeps your home safe, functional, and stress-free all year long.
Does Ranger provide parts?
Your Ranger handyman brings basic supplies for small jobs such as nails, screws, and caulking. For bigger parts, you can buy them or let us handle it for a $10 flat rate shopping fee per visit. Items over $100 require your approval. We recommend you pick major items you’ll see or use daily, but we’re here to help if you need advice.
Aging in Place
What is aging in place?
Aging in place means making modifications that allow you to live safely and comfortably in your own home as you get older, rather than moving to assisted living. These updates help prevent falls, improve accessibility, and make everyday life easier.
What types of modifications can Ranger provide?
We handle a wide range of updates, including:
Grab bar and handrail installation
Improved lighting and switches
Non-slip flooring solutions
Bathroom accessibility (walk-in showers, comfort-height toilets)
Doorway and entry adjustments
Every home is unique, so we tailor solutions to your needs.
How does the process work?
It starts with an Aging-in-Place Walk-Thru, where your Ranger reviews your home with a focus on safety and accessibility. We’ll point out risks, suggest modifications, and create a step-by-step plan that fits your lifestyle and budget.
Why choose Ranger for aging in place modifications?
Because we combine professionalism with personal care. Our Rangers are trained, background-checked, and values-driven. We don’t just install equipment — we provide thoughtful solutions that help you maintain independence and peace of mind in your own home.
